The Wire Harp is SFCC’s award-winning student arts magazine, published annually. Submissions include prose (non-fiction and fiction), poetry, photography, painting, sculpture, and other fine visual arts.
The interior layout of this edition of The Wire Harp encourages readers to ponder its pages' contents, with large entries, comfortable text styles, and thoughtfully-paired submissions. Bright red-orange bars, visible from the book's exterior, decorate award-winning entries unobtrusively.
The cover presents The Wire Harp as the sum of its contents, in a collage of pieces from previous years. A plain, vector rectangle balances the rough, hand-built collage. Spot gloss on the lettering and rectangle add polish: the collection is more than its sum; together, it is itself a piece of art.
