Rhthm Magazine fosters a globally-aware audience: enthusiasts of multiculturalism, musicians and producers writing musical trends, and people interested in traditions and their growth.
Rhthm needed a modern, responsive website, that would draw visitors irresistibly to Rhthm's quality articles, but that would use images sparingly, to speed mobile loading. Article presentation also needed to be elegant on mobile, engaging on desktop, and comfortable on both.
The homepage layout balances curation with popularity, serving different sorts of readers simultaneously, through the carefully-arranged blend.
In an earlier part of this school project, I researched and developed Rhthm Magazine's concept and brand. Based on competitive folk music publications, Rhthm Magazine is positioned as smart, globally-aware, and professional. It offers to inform readers of the state of world music genres. Targeted readers include enthusiasts of multiculturalism, musicians and producers researching musical trends, and people interested in traditions and their growth.
